the 9th search for Ms. Amazing Philippine Beauties 2011
37 aspiring contestants for the 9th Ms. Amazing Philippine Beauties 2011... 27 made the cut. Congratulations and Good Luck to all of you, let the competition begin.
I saw the final selection of candidates,I was in the theatre, and I think the judges have chosen badly. They have rejected some very fine candidates!!!!! THIS IS REALLY A SHAME. the organizers should apologize for their mistake. I think that Amazing Philippines Beauties 2011 is not more a prestigious beauty contest for TG girls.
We should accept the fact that the concept of beauty is indeed subjective.
I for one feels that there were "too different a taste" as to the selection of the final contestants for some of those who were in the screening committee, but I must respect their choices as I always have. I am quite sure that they perceive my choices in the same light but they have to respect my opinion as well...
When the tally comes out, then it becomes final. I see no reason for an apology over opinions entitled to all. To each his own and beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
I am sorry that you feel the way you do, Oliver but in a democracy this is how things are done. I think APB remains prestigious simply because we do not have a predetermined winner in mind nor do we fix the ratings of the stats.
Once again, I would like to reiterate that fairness is a priority for the organizers but the concept of what is "beautiful" will remain subjective. Perhaps some of us will need to have our corneas refracted and fitted with lenses for a better view, but then again what difference would it make considering my mother thinks I'm good looking?
